For the first few years, the Newsletter was published as a series of volumes and numbers, with corresponding months. In 1997, the notion of volumes was abandoned and issue numbers with corresponding months was used, with a new name for the Newsletter, “Swallow Tales.” The name Swallow Tales was abandoned in 1998. There seems to have been a break in publication of the Newsletter in the fall of 1999. Editors have been unable to locate any issues between that newsletter the Spring 2006 edition. From that time to the present, issues have been named according to the quarter published: spring, summer, fall, winter.
