The 2018 Volunteer Appreciation Day was held on May 19 at the Rust House.  Activities included a tour of the Park’s water works facility, viewing an aquatic exhibit set up by Craig Hensley showing the creatures living in the waters of Honey Creek, and a presentation by Dale Blasingame, who has visited every state park in Texas with his dog Lucy.
