Fishing with a Ranger

Enjoy a morning of fishing on the Guadalupe River.
New to fishing? No problem! We will teach you the basics. No tackle? No problem! Fishing poles will be available to borrow through our free Tackle Loaner Program on a first come first served basis. We’ll even supply the bait while supplies last!
Drop in any time between 9:00am and 11:00am
All ages are welcome!
Where: Kayak launch area in day-use
Bring: Your family, drinking water, and sun protection
**Please note: fishing licenses are not required
Cost: Free with park admission; Adults: $7, Children 12 & under: Free
If ADA assistance is required, please request email accessibility@tpwd.texas.gov at least 2 weeks in advance.
