Guided Mother’s Day Walk at Honey Creek SNA *Registration Required*
May 11 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Celebrate this Mother’s Day with a serene and unforgettable experience at Honey Creek State Natural Area.
Sponsored by The Friends of Guadalupe River State Park/Honey Creek State Natural Area, join us for a Guided Mother’s Day Walk, a heartfelt celebration of both the mothers in our lives and the ones we hold in our memories. This family-friendly trek invites you and your loved ones to immerse yourselves in the breathtaking beauty of nature while reflecting on cherished moments.
Led by our expert guides, you’ll explore the lush landscapes, learning about the unique flora and fauna that make this area special. The walk will be a little less than 2 miles long and moderate in difficulty–much of it is flat, but there are some rocky areas, slopes and two steep but short hills.
Whether you’re celebrating with your mom, honoring her memory, or simply enjoying a peaceful stroll in nature, this special outing offers a chance to bond, relax, and create lasting moments. Following the walk, we’ll gather at the Rust House to enjoy pastries and MOM-osas (non-alcoholic) as we continue the celebration of love and remembrance.
