Guided Bird Walk at Honey Creek Ranch *Registration Required*

Join us this fall for a special opportunity to explore Honey Creek Ranch with State Natural Area Superintendent, Gilbert, as your guide!
This easy, 2-mile walk over level terrain will take you through birding habitat during migration season. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just starting, come learn about the diverse bird species in the area and enjoy a sneak peek at this new property!

Note: there is a limit of 15 participants.
Who: Recommended for ages 10 and up; no dogs, please, except for service dogs
Meet: Honey Creek Ranch at 8:50am
Directions will be sent out via email ~3 days before the program to registered participants. Map will be included.
When: 9:00- 10:30am
Bring: Sturdy footwear, water, sun protection, and binoculars. We will have loaners pairs of binoculars available if you need them.
Cost: Free with park admission; Adults: $7, Children 12 & under: Free
There is no ranger station at Honey Creek Ranch. You will need to check in at headquarters at Guadalupe River State Park (3350 Park Road 31) to obtain your entry permit or make a day-use reservation online at texasstateparks.reserveamerica.com.
