Nature Journaling

Connect with nature in a whole new way through the art of nature journaling!
Join us as we explore the diverse plants, wildlife, and landscapes of Guadalupe River State Park. We’ll provide basic instructions on how to begin a nature journal, including tips on drawing, writing, and making detailed observations. Participants will have the opportunity to wander on the Discovery Center Loop (0.3 miles), sketching and noting what they discover. All materials provided.
Who: You and your family
Where: Meet at the Amphitheater; activity will take place near the Discovery Center
Bring: Sturdy footwear, water, and sun protection; bring your own journal and art supplies if you desire
Cost: Free with park admission; Adults: $7, Children 12 & under: Free
