St. Patrick’s Geocaching Adventure

Join us for an early St. Patrick’s Day celebration and find the “treasure” at the end of the “rainbow”!
Geocaches (hidden items) can be found all over your neighborhood and the world, including at Guadalupe River State Park! GPS units or smart phones are used to find these treasures. Join us to learn the basics of this fun sport and embark on a practice treasure hunt! A limited number of GPS units will be available to borrow. All ages welcome.
Who: You and your family
Where: Meet at the Amphitheater; practice geocaching will take place near the Discovery Center
Bring: Sturdy footwear, water, sun protection, GPS unit and/or smart phone (if you have one)
Prepare: Download the Geocaching.com app to your smart phone (if planning to use) prior to the program
Cost: Free with park admission; Adults: $7, Children 12 & under: Free
