Wild Texan Legends: Exploring Animal Icons at the Park

Join us for a belated Texas Independence Day celebration!
In honor of Texas Independence Day (and Texas in general), join Ranger JT to learn about some of the park’s resident animals and their unique traits that have helped them survive and become Texan icons. You will then embark on a Texas symbol scavenger hunt to see how many you can spot at the park!
Who: You and your family
Where: Meet at the Amphitheater; scavenger hunt will take place near the Discovery Center
Bring: Sturdy footwear, water, and sun protection
Cost: Free with park admission; Adults: $7, Children 12 & under: Free
