Activities especially for children include:

• Looking at nature through the eyes of a scientist, at the Discovery Center (Hours are 10 am – 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays).  For more information about the Discovery Center and its offerings, please click here.
• Exploring nature with an “Explorer’s Backpack” (available for check-out at the Discovery Center)

Activities for children and adults include:   

• Birding
• Fishing (fishing tackle is available for checking out at the Discovery Center; hours are 10 am – 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays)
• Hiking and running in the Park
• Hiking in Honey Creek with Experienced Guides and Master Naturalists       
• Mountain Biking

And while you are in the Park, be sure to make plans to enjoy a picnic near the river or take a swim (even on warm sunny days in December!)
