Experience the natural and cultural history of Honey Creek!
Sponsored by The Friends of Guadalupe River State Park/Honey Creek State Natural Area, join certified guides for an interpretive walk to one of the last pristine bodies of water in Texas, Honey Creek, to learn about the area’s natural and cultural history. The trail is about 2 miles long and moderate in difficulty–much of it is flat, but there are some rocky areas, slopes, and two steep but short hills.
Who: All ages are welcome! No dogs, please, except for service dogs
Meet: Outside the Rust House (located within Guadalupe River State Park)
When: 9- 11:30am
Bring: Sturdy footwear, water, and sun protection
Cost: Free with park admission; Adults: $7, Children 12 & under: Free
