9:30 am Blazing New Trails: Easy Mountain Biking
April 30, 2022 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am
Join us for an easy trail ride, and find out about some of the first mountain bikers!
Did you know that some of the first mountain bikers in the country were the Buffalo Soldiers — all-black regiments in the US Army?
Join the Park Ranger as we find out more about mountain biking and some of its original pioneers — then we’ll go on an easy guided trail ride!
Who: All ages are welcome. No dogs, please, except service animals.
What: A short presentation about mountain biking and its history, and a few mountain biking tips and tricks — then an easy guided trail ride.
Distance: We will ride an easy trail less than 2 miles in length.
Register! Registration is required for this program, and spots are limited. Registration will open on Saturday 4/9. Check the Events page on the Guadalupe River State Park website: https://tpwd.texas.gov/calendar/guadalupe-river/blazing-new-trails-easy-mountain-biking
