1:00 pm First Day Honey Creek Nature Hike

Experience the natural and cultural history of Honey Creek on our First Day Hike!

Start 2023 off outdoors! Join us for a guided hike to the beautiful Honey Creek to learn about both the natural and cultural history of the area. This event is sponsored by the Friends of Guadalupe River State Park/Honey Creek State Natural Area. The trail is 2.5 miles long and moderate in difficulty. Much of it is flat but there are some rocky areas, slopes, and a steep but short hill. Participants will receive a First Day Hike sticker upon completion!

All ages welcome! No dogs, please.

Registration is required for this event. Please check the Guadalupe River State Park Events page for registration.
Registration for each hike will open approximately three weeks in advance.

Meet: Rust House at Honey Creek State Natural Area (inside the park)
Bring: Drinking water, sun protection, sturdy shoes; dress for weather
Cost: Free with park admission; Adults: $7, Children 12 & under: Free
