Learn how to cast a fishing pole, identify common fish species of Texas, and understand fishing regulations.
This is not an actual fishing event, but it is a great way to get better at casting a fishing pole, identify common fish species of Texas, and understand fishing regulations. After practicing, check out a loaner pole and bait to do some real fishing!
All ages are welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Where: Kayak launch area in day-use
Bring: Your family, drinking water, and sun protection
Cost: Free with park admission; Adults: $7, Children 12 & under: Free
