DESCRIPTION:Experience the natural and cultural history of Honey Creek! \nSponsored by The Friends of Guadalupe River State Park/Honey Creek State Natural Area\, join certified guides for an interpretive walk to one of the last pristine bodies of water in Texas\, Honey Creek\, to learn about the area’s natural and cultural history. The trail is about 2 miles long and moderate in difficulty–much of it is flat\, but there are some rocky areas\, slopes\, and two steep but short hills. \nWho: All ages are welcome! No dogs\, please\, except for service dogs\nMeet: Outside the Rust House (located within Guadalupe River State Park)\nWhen: 9- 11:30am\nBring: Sturdy footwear\, water\, and sun protection\nCost: Free with park admission; Adults: $7\, Children 12 & under: Free \nRegistration is required for this event.
